So on the latest transformers commercial they make the following statement.
Considering it's based of a cartoon from the 80's the film industry is in a sad state indeed.
On an unrelated note im being pressured from all sides now to join Facebook. I have been resisting for so long. Not sure how much longer I can hold out.

I am with you in withholding from the Facebook thing. Remember, it's just another fad.

Resistance is not futile. You can hold out. You, Tom and I can be a united front against facebook.
That being said, I said many years ago that I would never use MSN or hotmail. Some track record I have.

That sounds like you're dabbling in the dark side, Frank. Be careful, I've heard once you get one of these accounts it can consume your spare time like... er, WoW I guess...

Okay,
Facebook is a fad. Its the current fad and it is neat. WOrks well, allows ya to share a bunch of pictures quickly and tag people in pictures, also neat. The program can only consume you to the point that you let it. I am able to stay in touch with folks I haven't spoken to in years, yet it is not awkward.
the downside: not too many defendants of facebook on the blog because they were too busy using facebook.

Oh and Shawn,
your picture at the top of La Cloche Mountain, Killarney park, while you are praying to the Sun God, is the cover picture to my Killarney canoe trip photo album on Facebook.
If you lost those pictures on the dead hard drive, you can get 60 of them on facebook.
